Allow me to introduce myself

My name is Howard and I have been an artist all my life. I have a technical background as a bodywork specialist in the automotive industry. Back in Paramaribo, Surinam, I had a workshop where I created custom paint jobs for cars. I also did a lot of bodywork using fibreglass and hammering steel.

These days I spend a lot of time practicing the craft of portrait and still life painting. I mostly work with acrylic paint, but if requested, I can also work with water color, oil paint, pencils and airbrush.

I still like doing metal work, so I often go to the metal workshop to work on people’s cars. Mostly to fix damages or airbrush custom artwork.

If you would like a painting, this is how I work

1. You send me a good picture of the object or we come over to take a professional photograph
2. You decide the size, the medium, the kind of paint and the level of detailing
3. We make a deal on a good price for both of us
4. After I receive your payment, I start the painting process
5. You receive your painting in person or by delivery
6. If you don’t like it, the painting gets destroyed and you get your money back
